1. Turnover up 22% i 2007
A delighted Prochem managing director Brett Holman has announced that the company has just recorded its biggest increase in turnover for many years. “Our calendar year 2007 figures have recently been collated and the results are fantastic,” an enthused Holman told C & R magazine.
“Our sales figures are up all across the board - from truck mounts, to portables and through to chemicals, all the figures have shown strong increases.”
Brett is particularly pleased about the results because 2007 was a difficult year with staff losses and increased competition in their key markets. Despite that, our truck mount sales showed a dramatic increase and our portable sales were also much increased.”
Five year plan
Just back from the States, where Brett spent time holidaying with the Prochem Vice President and his family, the company has big plans for the next five years, having recently completed their five year plan to take them into the next decade.
Prochem general manager Terry Rondi (ex K’Archer) was the person responsible for the implementation of their five year plan and according to Teresa Fomiatti, Prochem co-founder and current Brisbane manager, all businesses should have them. “A business plan drives your business and is the vehicle to achieving your goals,” said Fomiatti. “We have proved it - and I strongly urge all cleaning businesses to do the same. Make a plan of where you aim to be in five years time and it can happen!”

3. New service technician for Brisbane branch
Prochem is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Brett Gerdtz as senior service technician in our Brisbane outlet. “This appointment will further streamline our already efficient service department in Brisbane,” remarked Brisbane manager Teresa Fomiatti.
Brett has relocated from Sydney for a sea change. He has an extensive history working as a service technician on small motors and equipment with companies such as Kennards Hire and CLM Excavation. Brett has a seven year old son, Robby, who he enjoys spending time with too. He is looking forward to taking ownership of his role in Brisbane, being of assistance to and meeting his customers, and being part of the Prochem team.
